For a while now I've been working on a nifty little site called KanaQuest. With KanaQuest you can learn Hiragana and Katakana (used often in Anime and Manga) and words in Japanese.
Right now there are three different quizzes you can use: HiraKQ, KataKQ, and KanaWords. All of them should be easy enough to understand without reading the instructions.

Woah. I've been etching to find a site like this. I learn Italian, so I only know basic, if not less than basic Japanese. Great job on this. =]
