POKEMON THEME SONG!~ discovery yup yup

I wanna be the very best
like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause

I will travel across the land
searching far and wide
Each pokemon to understand
the power that's inside

Pokemon! its you and me
I know its my destiny,
Pokemon! Oh you're my best friend
in a world we must defend
Pokemon! a heart so true
Our courage will pull us through,

You teach me and I'll teach you,
Pokemon! gotto catch'em all

Every challenge allong the way
with courage I will face.
I will battle every day
to claim my rightful place.
Come with me,
the time is right,
there's no better team.
Arm in arm we'll win the fight!
It's always been our dream!

lol, you're enjoying this theme song posting spree, aren't you? x]

I heard the theme song for the 11th season, it's much better than the 10th... but I haven't been watching Pokemon in like... ages, but eh. The Johto Journey's one was the best theme song season aside from D/P, compared to all the rest.

Ima gunna stop now to prevent myself from rambling. lol. silent

Pokemon doesn't air on AUS anymore, well currently that is ... so I haven't watched it since... like, forever, in exception to listening to the 11th theme since I was curious, but that's about it.

They're alright, I mean to an extent. The problem about these games are that they're the easiest out of most popular franchise to hack. I guess, though, this is what makes them all the more better. x]

Re: Pokémon Discussion

Post by Mr. Schwibbles on Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:12 pm

Time for some topic starting here.

When did you get interested in Pokemon and was there an influential person who got you into it?

Well, I had a brother, who at the time was obsessed with GameBoy. He was bored then, me being nearly a decade younger and not much friends coming over. So on my sixth birthday, he bought us both the first Pokemon Games. I chose Red, and him Blue (consequently Red became my favourite colour, quickly changing into Pink and Silver over time, then blue then green, then back to Red) and both of us chose opposing Pokemon. Mine was Bulbasaur and his was Charmander. After then we were obsessed and devoured the game until we got those adapter things so we could battle each other. And boy, was THAT fun. >;D

The anime came out nearly the same time and of course we watched it. I was a bit biased then, and I favoured Misty (I'm gunna get shot for this) when I was little. Mainly 'cause she was the only girl of the group. That changed over the Johto season. Then I fell in love with Gary, and soon after Tracey. But I now know that Gary is Ash's property. ;P

I soon became tired of Pokemon as it became repetitive and boring. So I stopped watching.

After the airing of D/P I saw the new heroine, Dawn/Hikari and I liked her instantly. Her clothes were awesome (though everyone can agree a guy designed the skirt), she ran like a normal person and she had an upbeat attitude, which, unlike Ash's, entertained you rather than drive you absolutely insane. So I started watching.

The broadcasting is a bit slow over here in the AUS, but it's better than most. Then I finally went to Serebii again (I got bored of that because of the horrible staff) to find episode updates and screenshots. And guess who came back?

GAAARRRRYYYYY! -parties-

SO... of course I would want to watch for the PalletShippy madness. ;D

And that's basically it, though all this talk about Pokemon has reminded me to catch up on all the episodes I missed. Shocked
